With just 1 race left this season Rud Bull have said they will make no decisions over their vacant seat for 2021 until after the season. It's a seat that Albon currently sits in and wants to keep for next season. But will he? Has he done enough this season to earn retention of his seat?

Well, what a weekend that was. Full of drama, unpredictability and a first time F1 winner. But was it who you thought it would be?

On Saturday Romain Grosjean confirmed that he would not be attending the final race of the season at Abu Dhabi in order to concentrate on his recovery from the burns on his hands. This is sad news as his last time driving an F1 car will potentially be his fiery crash at Bahrain last weekend.

Well it's been nearly 8 years since we've seen the name Schumacher on a Formula 1 grid after Michael retired for the second time at the end of 2012. Now though we're going to get our third Schumacher lining up for a race start after Michael and Ralf in Michael's son Mick.

Looks like I was right with my thinking last night? Mercedes announced this morning that after some brief talks with the Williams team that George Russell will replace Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes W11 at this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.

We woke up to the news this morning that Lewis Hamilton had tested positive for Covid and as such this has ruled him out of this weekend's second Bahrain Grand Prix on the Outer Loop circuit. He's reported he has only mild symptoms and is self-isolating as per the protocols.

This past Sunday saw a return to Bahrain for the first of the remaining triple header races in the Middle East.
